developing all people into fully devoted followers of Christ

Baptism

Baptism plays an integral part in every believer's growth in Christ. As Jesus concluded His earthly ministry, He invited all of His followers to identify themselves with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit through baptism.

At Grace, we celebrate baptism several times per year. Our next baptism is scheduled for Sunday, August 25 at 3 PM at the home of Russ and Maralee Boreman in Wooster.

Testimonial:

Sadly to say, before I decided to trust in Christ, He was actually nonexistent in my life. Though I attended church regularly with my wife, I was not in attendance with Christ. I never really understood the meaning of Christ and the church. I always felt that I could make it on my own.

Well, that did not work out too well for me. Prior to this time last year, I was heading down the dark path of destruction. An event in my life has since changed me forever. Through my wife’s strong faith and commitment to Christ, she helped guide me to seek help through Christ, the church, and the Pastoral Staff of Wooster Grace. I now know and understand the true love that Christ has for me. He sacrificed His life for me so that I can live an eternal life with Him by placing my trust in Him.

My acceptance of Christ has changed my entire outlook on life. Not only have I found strength in Him, but He strengthens not only myself, but my relationship with my wife. Through our growth in Christ together, we are now experiencing a new stronger marital growth.

Because of the love and commitment of the Pastoral Staff and my Saturday morning men’s group, they have helped lay the foundation and lead me to accept Jesus Christ as my personal savior. I am forever changed and grateful.
