Wooster Grace values the poor, the orphan, and the widow. We are blessed by a great congregation that gives to help the poor, the orphans and the widows in two parts of the world—Central Africa and SE Asia.
God has a heart for the orphan and widows. In the C.A.R., God has allowed us to work with VisionTrust (external link) and Project Hope & Charite (external link) to help 51 orphaned children in their Orphan Care program. In SE Asia, God has prompted our church leadership to help build orphanages called Grace Place: Grace Place Battambang in Battambang, Cambodia and Grace Place Thailand in Wiang Pa Pow, Thailand. Wooster Grace partners with Asia’s Hope to rescue 63 orphans in SE Asia right now.
Out of our efforts to help orphans in SE Asia, a group of our church attendees launched Team Hope. Team Hope seeks to catalyze the vision and mission of the church by raising awareness and money to assist with the funding of predetermined projects for “our kids” in our orphanages.
